Earth Day is April 22nd and this year I’m happy to share some of my favorite products that help us all live a little greener. What’s your favorite way to be “green?”
Dubbed as an emergency gadget charger, this portable USB solar charger is also perfect for pool days. (and let’s face it, it looks pretty awesome too!)
This nifty Rain Water Collection and Storage System stores 65 gallons of water. Catch the rain and store for yard and garden watering as needed. (It’s pretty, too!)
Show your Earth Day spirit off with one of many t-shirts available to commemorate the 45th anniversary of this important day.
Get tons of ideas how to reuse and up-cycle your old items into paper art, fashion, jewelry, housewares in this nifty book.
Believe it or not, one of the greenest ways to clean (i.e. chemical free) is to simply dilute a few capfuls of vinegar in a gallon of warm water. Cleans most household surfaces! (not recommended on natural stone)
This set from Green Eats Tabletop Set includes a plate, bowl, and tumbler is made in the USA from 100% food-safe recycled plastic milk containers.
My favorite reusable bottle on the market – the Hydroflask – keeps beverages hot for 12 hours or cold for 24 hours and doesn’t sweat (My “Beach Buddy!”)
This 100% tree free recycled paper is embedded with wildflower seeds! Write a letter (yes, write!) and instruct recipient to plant it after reading.
Get kids involved and help them understand the lifecycle of a plastic bottle (from manufacturing to recycling.)
Save money and produce less waste with this reusable pouch. My recommendation: Make Homemade Applesauce in your slow cooker and fill up those pouches!
